The Virtual Intermodal Transportation System

The National Institute for Intermodal Transportation, jointly supported by the University of Denver and Mississippi State University, has released a report that examines a prototype Virtual Intermodal Transportation System (VITS) designed to simulate the movement of freight via highways, railways, and waterways on a statewide level.
