Last Modified Date: 10/26/2007

The U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has released a report that explores NHTSA’s Click It or Ticket high-visibility seat belt enforcement mobilization in May 2005.  The report highlights seat belt enforcement activities and the use of paid and earned media that focused on seat belt enforcement.  This report also examines the impact of these efforts on the seat belt use rate and includes case study evaluations for three separate NHTSA regions where demonstration programs to increase seat belt use occurred.
