The Transportation Research Board is sponsoring the 18th National Conference on Rural Public and Intercity Bus Transportation Partnerships for Progress in Rural Transportation on October 19-22, 2008 in Omaha, Nebraska. The conference will be structured around the following focus areas: planning, design, and research; policy, funding, and finance; rural mobility; rural transportation in today's operating environment; and technology solutions to improve service. The deadline for early registration is September 5, 2008.
