The Transportation Safety Planning Working Group (TSPWG) has released a report that includes case studies of transportation safety practices throughout the United States involving stakeholders at all levels of transportation safety. The report also examines the potential value of integrating safety into the transportation planning process and lists transportation safety resources. TSPWG is an informal, ad hoc partnership of select U.S. Department of Transportation agencies and associations representing safety, traffic engineering, and planning professionals as well as state departments of transportation.
